Flow-Cal Presenting at International School

Flow-Cal, Inc. is sending several of their subject matter experts to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to participate in the International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement’s (ISHM) annual event. The distinguished event will be held May 10-12, 2016, and will offer over 260 technical classes, including special hands-on workshops and lecture classes covering a wide range of gas and liquid measurement topics.

Flow-Cal’s team of experts will be providing attendees with an exclusive opportunity to receive hands-on training using Flow-Cal’s premier line of measurement products. Hands-on sessions will include training on the FLOWCAL Enterprise application, Flow-Cal’s corporate measurement and inventory management solution, as well as field applications TESTit, PROVEit and PYCit. Flow-Cal’s suite of field applications are used unilaterally by both liquid and gas divisions within an organization to schedule and record the calibration and testing of field equipment.

Additionally while at the event, Duane Harris, Flow-Cal’s Vice President of Business Development and Support, will present three technical papers entitled Improving Flow Measurements with Improved Calibration and Data Handling Procedures; Auditing Electronic Gas Measurement per API Chapter 21.1; and Data Validation- Requirements of an EGM Editor. These topics will present industry best practices and standards, and provide recommendations for improving measurement operations.

Harris has more than two decades of gas measurement experience, including the management and operation of a major pipeline’s measurement department. He directs all customer-related initiatives for Flow-Cal’s gas and liquid products, ensuring consummate product performance and customer satisfaction. Additionally, Harris has led and holds a number of respected positions within the various measurement schools and committees around the country.
