Announcing Flow-Cal’s 18th Annual Users Group Conference at Snowbird, Utah
Flow-Cal, Inc. will hold their 18th annual Flow-Cal Users Group conference June 19-22, 2017 at the Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort near Salt Lake City, Utah. Returning to Snowbird after the event in 2010, Flow-Cal selected the resort for the 2017 conference to reach its Salt Lake City users and those across the Rocky Mountain region.
The Flow-Cal Advisory Board (FAB-8) and Flow-Cal have planned the four-day conference to include educational sessions, case studies, roundtable discussions and networking events focused on Flow-Cal’s product line and measurement best practices. They are expected to host more than 200 gas and liquid measurement professionals from the U.S., Canada and Latin America.
The program for the 2017 event includes a large number of industry instructors from Flow-Cal’s user community providing practical application on ways to more effectively use the Flow-Cal suite of products. Additionally, a number of important industry updates will be addressed during the week, including recent changes to American Petroleum Institute’s (API) mass measurement standards and the new Bureau of Land Management (BLM) regulations.
“Although our industry continues to experience a number of challenges, companies still recognize the value and opportunities associated with the Users Group conference,” said Michael Squyres, Flow-Cal’s President. “After almost twenty years of hosting the event, we’ve created a program that provides a valuable experience to our user community.”
The annual Flow-Cal Users Group provides a forum for sharing practical information that will help companies streamline operations and create efficiencies throughout their organization. The next annual Users Group conference will be held in Galveston, Texas, October 2018.
