FLOWCAL Enterprise is used throughout the industry to validate, balance, store, and report gas and liquid measurement data. FLOWCAL Enterprise was developed as a corporate solution for the most demanding system requirements, minimizing the efforts of managing a complex measurement department.
FLOWCAL Enterprise provides the most robust selection of validation parameters available. Each meter contains more than 150 configurable set-points designed to identify abnormal or erroneous data. These routines utilize several techniques including statistical models (based on meter history), comparisons to minimum and maximum set-points, and comparisons to data of associated meters. All validation violations (“exceptions”) are written to the feature-rich Exception Resolver.
The FLOWCAL Enterprise Exception Resolver provides a forum for users to quickly review and resolve exceptions. Each message is color-coded according to the severity of the exception. The user has numerous options for sorting and grouping current and historical data. By selecting an exception, users can view the offending data set to quickly evaluate the flow anomalies. The user can choose to edit or ignore the flow anomalies, resulting in an exception change from the unresolved state to either “resolved by user” or “ignored,” retaining a complete audit trail.
Distribution couldn’t be easier when utilizing the built-in Report Scheduler. This function allows users to create standard or custom reports and distribute them at specified intervals, including daily, weekly, and monthly. The distribution mediums include fax, email, network printer, or web posting. This Windows service uses a monitoring function that retains a complete audit trail of successful and unsuccessful distributions including automatic retry capabilities.
In FLOWCAL Enterprise, monthly closes are assisted by the Close Group Scheduler. This Windows service closes meter groupings according to the user-specified schedule. Any modifications performed after closing require a prior period adjustment. The Monthly Close Functions & Service module retains a detailed audit trail for reducing confusion on historical volume reviews.
The security features of FLOWCAL Enterprise are robust and intuitive. All program functions have read, write, edit, delete, and add privileges. An administrator assigns these privileges on a user and/or group basis. Authorization can be granted to an individual user or a member of a group that has access.
Balance your system at the product and component levels for all gas and liquid transactions including continuous batch meters, tickets, truck, rail, and tank movements. When integrating gas and liquids, FLOWCAL Enterprise performs a complete and comprehensive system balance with a hierarchical results display, allowing users the most flexibility when researching gain/loss data.
The FLOWCAL Enterprise Source Quality feature allows for entry and import of more than 200 components, configurable hexane plus properties, density, and S&W%, as well as independent gas quality analysis from on-line gas chromatographs or labs. These components are validated upon receipt, generating exceptions for values detected outside of the user-defined boundaries. Once validated, all batches assigned to the analysis are automatically updated. This one-to-many relationship simplifies edits and associated audit trails, efficiently managing your quality analysis and its application to meter data.
